Home Sweet Home

The Alberta Yarn Project has a new store!

The Alberta Yarn Project team is happy to announce the opening of our new store. Taking up a small upstairs suite at the beautiful Creative Practices Institute (10149 - 122 Street NW), we officially open our doors for limited hours starting this Saturday, April 2nd and Sunday, April 3rd, 10:00 am - 6:00 pm. Keep an eye on our Calendar for updated hours and events!

We have loved spending the last 2 years attending markets and holding pop-up events in Edmonton, Calgary and Alberta. While we will continue to do so, we wanted to open a store that we hope will be convenient for more knitters, crocheters, weavers and spinners in Edmonton and Alberta.

The Creative Practices Institute has become that place. This Heritage House is in the 124 Street & Jasper Avenue neighbourhood, which is beautiful and well-treed with lots of street parking in front. One small hitch is that our hours may not coincide with the Institute's hours. So if you don't see the open sign on, don't fret, just ring the doorbell. One of our team will be happy to let you in and help you with your yarn needs!

Our stores hours will fluctuate through the week due to our Team member's schedules but we hope to set up regular hours once we determine the best times for all our yarn enthusiasts. We are also excited to be able to use the Institute for events like Craft & Draught and knitting classes in the near future!

We ain't foolin' when it comes to Alberta Yarn!
